Museums: Museo Guayasamín, Mueso Del Banco Central, Mueso De Arte Colonial, Centro Cultural Metropolitano. You will see the artistic talent displayed in a plethora of styles and mediums.

Historic Sights: The historic sites throughout Quito including Plaza de la Independencia, Plaza de San Francisco, and La Ronda District have been constructed as early as 1550.

Cathedrals: Some of the cathedrals include Church of La Merced (has the oldest clock of all Ecuadorian Cathedrals, built in1817 in London), El Sagrario Church (has gilded doors), and the Jesuit Church of La Compañía (boasting the most beautiful, ornate interior).

Day 2 thru 4
Cotopaxi & Baños
Tour the Cotopaxi National Park and see the highest active volcano in the world. In this area there are several other volcanoes as well. This is also an opportunity to view a variety of different kinds of wildlife. From here we will travel Riobamba to take an amazing train ride on the Andes Mountains and then to Baños to visit a popular outdoor recreational escape.

Cotopaxi: This area is popular because of the numerous volcanoes close to one another. Many backpackers come here to summit all of the volcanoes at a time. To learn more about the area we will visit the local museum. We can learn about the history of the area, observe a 3D model of the park, and view stuffed wildlife from the park. Also, there are hiking trails, which circle the Laguna de Limpiopungo Lake.

Baños: We will explore the many walking paths, hiking trails, waterfalls, and spectacular views. There will also be an opportunity for horseback riding and river rafting.

Riobamba & Nariz Del Diablo: Have the opportunity to ride the renowned Nariz Del Diablo train ride that reaches an elevation of 11,870 ft! The train drives up a series of steep switchbacks throughout the ride. The historic construction of this train ride was built in 1902. The train survived El Niño during the years of 1982-83 and 1997-98.
